芒种时，齐鲁大地气温显著升高，雨水较为丰沛，农人在田间地头“多线作战”，忙着夏收、夏种、夏管。“芒种忙种，边收边种”“栽秧割麦两头忙”“收麦种豆不让晌”“过了芒种，不可抢种”的农谚在提醒农人要于芒种时节做好农事接力。

　　此时，大麦、小麦等有“芒”儿的作物，等着被收获；大豆、玉米等大秋的作物，等着被播种。“播种”与“收获”被紧凑地压缩在同一节气，稼穑的艰辛与收获的欢喜也自此汇聚。

　　眼下，正是大蒜成熟收获的时节。在泰安岱岳区祝阳镇北高北村的田间地头，蒜农们穿梭忙碌，他们手持工具将大蒜从土壤中小心采挖出来，仔细挑拣、分类。
